Exploring History, One Page at a Time.

The Ephraim Historical Foundation Book Club invites readers of all backgrounds to join a welcoming community of lifelong learners with a shared love for history, literature, and conversation.

During the summer months, we select a compelling book—ranging from historical fiction to nonfiction titles—that connects to the rich heritage of Ephraim, Door County, and beyond. This summer our chosen reads are:

  • June: Door Way by Norbert Blei

  • July: In the Unsettled Homeland of Dreams by Thomas Davis*

  • August: The Ephraim Yacht Club 1906-2006 by Linda and George Carey

*Meet this local author at our July History Speaks presentation! More information available here.

Whether you are a year-round local or a summer visitor, you are welcome to join us on the 4th Wednesday of July, August, and September for these lively discussions. More details on exact time and location to follow. The EHF summer Book Club is free and open to all.
