Educational Outreach

for Schools, Students, and Families

  • Field Trips

Looking for an opportunity for elementary students to walk through real historic sites? Our field trips are custom designed to complement your current teaching objectives via tours and hands-on experiences. Trained guides teach students about local history along the way and connect stories from the past to the present day.

  • Teaching Trunks

How cool would it be to have a museum come to you? Our Teaching Trunks include real pieces of history organized thematically by topic, with lessons and engagement opportunities delivered by our Educators and volunteers. Trunks are currently available for Kindergarten and 4th grade levels.

  • Primary Source Projects

There is no better way for higher level students to learn history than by having them work directly with primary sources. The Ephraim Historical Foundation offers customized research projects and field trips using real historic documents and objects housed in our Archives & Collections.
