The Groenfeldt Stable

Restoration of the Groenfeldt Stable is our largest 2025 project due to its fragile state and complexity. The structure requires substantial reinforcement before it can be lifted for a new foundation followed by exterior wood repairs. This project has an estimated cost of $70,500 plus more for electrical, lighting and interpretation improvements. Upon completion, the building will be used as both an added interpretive space, as well as a program space for historic crafts and more. A generous gift from Jim and Joanne Rankin has kick-started this project, leaving $40,000+ for more donor opportunities.

Estimated Project Cost: $40,000+
